I REALLY LIKE THIS

Tulisan ini saya dapatkan dari guru dan sahabat saya, Bp. Fred Mandolang. Beliau menuliskannya di grup Whatsapp Schola Cantorum Gregorianum Bogorensis (SCB). Semoga berguna bagi Anda semua. (Thomas)

We are born into this world in our own crying, but leave the world in others' weeping. The process in between is called life. God is very interesting; cat likes to eat fish, but cat can't go into the water; fish likes to eat earthworms, but fish can't go up to the land. Life is, while we possess something, we also lose something; while we grab, we also let go. Life is not all roses by any means, and in life, not everything is to the desire of our hearts.

So, don't be too serious with others because it is not worth it; don't be too serious with your own selves because you can't afford to hurt yourselves; don't be too serious over the past because it is meaningless; and do not be too serious with present because we must move on!

In this world, nothing is yours, only the healthy body is yours.

Dear friends, classmates, comrades, relatives, brothers and sisters, please take care of your own bodies.

This saying is very philosophical; I am sharing with all the people I know, in the hope for same inspiration:

Don't show off your money as it becomes wastepaper when you die;
don't show off your job as many people will do better than you after you leave ;
don't show off your house as it becomes someone else's home after you leave ;
don't show off your car as the car keys will be in the hands of others after you leave!

What you can show off is your health. When others are all gone, you can go anywhere, drink tea, and enjoy a healthy life. Health is our responsibility; the only thing that belongs to us in this world is our own bodies. So, take good care of it! Jaga kesehatan Anda.
